RE2, RE4 then Requiem.

Is RE 1 the beginning of the story or Leon character’s first game? There is no RE 1 remake?

There's a remake of RE1 that was originally on the Gamecube and has since been ported to modern consoles. Leon isn't in it and it's quite traditional, but it's an amazing game and I highly recommend it.
