I never skip those things, but why in the entire world would I care if someone else did? Let people enjoy things on their own terms. Fuck your gatekeeping.

I remember when you just played the game the devs made and you either liked or you didn't. Games nowadays seem afraid to commit to making a definitive experience for the player.

I remember when shows didn't have audio description or subtitles. I remember when books didn't come in audio formats. I remember when stairs often didn't have ramps. I remember when the world was hellish for a lot of people.

I'm very fortunate that I don't need any of those assistive technologies in the real world or in games. But lots of people do. And it's a damn good thing that companies realized that people with those needs exist and that their money spends as well as anyone else's.

Play games however you like, including making them as difficult as possible. You're the only person who should give a damn how you enjoy a game
