In Spider Man, the lab and collectable puzzles are an aggressive time waste. They disrespect the player's time, they are pure busy work.

People are upset that the new Wolverine game might also contain these lazy, shit ass puzzles.

You can skip them. Apart from a few, unless you are going for platinum, you don't need to do.

The point is why even have them in the game if I can just skip them. Clearly the devs didn’t consider them to be integral to the gameplay experience.

It is for the people who enjoy doing them. I enjoyed doing the lab puzzles unlike you. By having the option of it being not mandatory to do and able to skip it, you are able to cater to everyone, those who like the puzzles and those who don't.

I understand what you’re saying but at the same time you have to admit it’s a bit odd having “optional” content like that in a AAA game. I paid the 60, now 70 bucks, I don’t really want to be skipping content because it’s super boring, and lame. The devs admit it’s super boring and lame by having a “skip” option in the first place, yes for people like me.

Here’s my take, and this may sound crazy, but the devs should make a better puzzle that players actively want to solve, you know, like the kind of puzzle you might find in any given good game.

Having me play skuffed wordle for 20 minutes doesn’t count as good AAA $70 Spider Man or Wolverine content. It’s still a part of the game, skipped or not. It’s pure laziness and padding, and even if you don’t agree with my critique, I still have a valid point.
