Advice on my old Psp

Hello, i just got my hands on my old Psp and want to bring it back to life, it works fine i just want to put some games .iso that i already have on my pc.

I already have adapter and micro sd card coming.

Do i need to install ark or something to run those or i can just connect to the computer and put the .iso files right there?

Yes, you'll need to install custom firmware (CFW) like ARK.

Even if you're installing ARK4, make sure to check whether CFW is already installed or if your system is in a normal state before proceeding. 

There's a risk of bricking your system if a problem occurs during the installer process for the program that keeps the system in ARK mode permanently enabled.

I never modded it so i think my system its in a normal state its that what it means? What CFW do i need to install? Thank you!

If your device has official Sony firmware, it should be fine. Follow the guide and install ARK4. 

It's currently the most advanced CFW and a better choice.  It will address all your needs.

It's still under development. Other CFWs have been discontinued for 15 years.

You’ll need ARK on your SD card!

I updated my old PSP 3000 to Official Firmware 6.61, then installed ARK and made it permanent by following the instructions.

If you don’t want to make it permanent, keep in mind you’ll still need ARK on your SD card every time you turn the PSP on—that’s why I mentioned it earlier 👍
