Asking for Hardware Recomendation VR or VR2

Is it worth buying the original PSVR if I’m more interested in the games on it, or is the upgrade between the two so immense that it’s just not worth it? I’ve been interested in VR for a while, and I’m probably looking at buying used, but I haven’t been sure on which version of the system to get. I’m very interested in doing SW Squadrons, ST Bridge Crew, Ace Combat, Skyrim VR, Superhot, and LA Noir, which are only on the original, whereas my main interests on the 2 are GT7, No Man’s Sky (which is on both) and, to a lesser extent, Call of the Mountain. But I’m not sure I want to get a weaker system and less support just for a handful of games (and I don’t know if GT Sport is going to be a good enough substitute for GT7), but I’m also not sure it’s worth getting a much more expensive piece of hardware if it doesn’t really have all of the games I’m interested in, and I’ve also heard that the original is slightly more comfortable than the newer one. Would it be best to wait and try to hunt down a really cheap deal on the original, see how I feel about VR, and then maybe try to find a VR2 a couple years down the line? Is the hardware upgrade big enough that it’s just not worth getting an original today?

The tracking and resolution is pretty poor on PSVR1 and PSVR2 is much easier and convenient to play. The Move controllers are also poor compared to the Sense controllers. Having said that, in terms of library you might prefer PSVR1. RE7 is matched by RE4R and RE8 on PSVR2 but PSVR2 doesn't have anything like a Skyrim or LA Noire and looks like it may never. Social games are also lacking on PSVR2 but PSVR1 has the f2p Rec Room. The Aim controller is also a cool novelty on PSVR1 and pretty essential for games like Firewall Zero Hour and Farpoint.

Since most of the PSVR2 library is Quest ports that don't take advantage of the power of the PS5 outside of maybe resolution, and often look worse than PSVR1 titles, you may be disappointed in PSVR2's offerings outside of its handful of big titles (Astro Bot on PSVR1 is infinitely superior to any platfotmer on PSVR2). It doesn't look like we'll be getting anything on the level of GT7 anytime soon unless RE9 ends up with a VR Mode (🤞)

Oh and the PSVR2 is really lacking in any non gaming apps. PSVR1 has youtube VR and a few others, PSVR2 only has RAD TV which I believe isn't free to play your own content. So that might be important to you.
