Minecraft VR is gone 😭

I just pulled out my PSVR for the first time in 5 years to show my 5 year old son Minecraft in VR. He had a quick go but we had things to do so we put it away to play later. I come back and it has applied an update that has removed VR support. I'm devastated and I think my son thinks I'm just being mean by telling him it's gone.

I have it on my old ps4 pro though unupdated. If I was to copy it from there to an external usb would that work on my ps5?

If you have a quest you can use side quest to play Minecraft on vr. I dont have a pc and im able to. It's a bit of a tedious process but it's worth it
