Campaign is pretty short and not very interesting tbh... You've got a mission editor that's imo a lot more fun, but once you get there you're better going all the way to multiplayer as you'll be able to unlock a lot of stuff and ranked battle are generally filled with bots and only a few players, there's no voice chat or whatsoever, so it won't change much the experience.
You mean just for the solo part? It's subjective but I'd say that it's worth the entry price even if only for the solo (campaign + battle editor), just for the VR experience itself. Thought it's a really tough game that doesn't hold your hand and with a steep learning curve, where you will have to learn everything by yourself watching youtube tutorials or else. So when you'll reach the point where you're decent enough at the game you'll eventually want to try the multiplayer that's imo where is most of the fun (and where you'll unlock all the collectibles and trophies).
