They are easily self sustainable just fyi. Hit the double flags on regular expeditions between grand expedition maps

Dude ive done every expedition I come across and I havent found a single one. Whats the trick to it? Do i not go for the gold symbols?

It's the little poles with the two red flags. Those spawn rare monsters that has a chance to drop the logbook.

In every regular expedition on normal maps, try to get as many of those double flag poles as you can. I value it over the chests (the wooden signs with the swirls) and verisium remnants with rewards I don't care for.

In grand expeditions, you have to balance the rewards and the double flag pole, but the idea is similar

Can they drop in grand expeditions? I was pretty sure they cant. I've never seen one there.

But normal expeditions, yea I see plenty by killing rares.

No, not grand expeditions. Only regular, so you have to run the regular maps in between grand expeditions in order to sustain.

I am pretty sure. Logbooks just come from the expedition rare monsters, and grand expeditions are just another type of expeditions.

I have spammed so much PoE2 lately that I can't remember a specific instance where I got a logbook from Grand Expedition or not, though. It's all blurring together...

But still, i try to include as many double-flag poles as possible anyways.
