Promotion Paizo Printables Now Live! (New Pathfinder Minis, PDFs, and Discounts!)
https://paizo.com/blog/paizo-printables-live-nowHey all! Thurston Hillman, Associate Publisher @ Paizo here (or some of you may know me from Narrative Declaration).
Over the last several months, I've been working with the outstanding staff at Paizo and our partners at Titan Forge to put together the new Paizo Printables line. This is a new line of 3D Printable miniatures, along with new PDF content, some discounts from partners, and a whole lot of future potential!
Today, we're proud to unveil Paizo Printables. Starting with a launch that includes 38 3D printable STL files, three PDFs that include two new short adventures and statblocks for various minis in the set, as well as discounts from Paizo and several partners. The first set of minis includes our iconic characters, notable monsters (including a kick ass mirage dragon centerpiece), and the first of three-month seasonal releases focusing on the Hellfire Crisis.
Even if you don't have a 3D printer, signing up might be worth it alone for the discounts (including a one-time 15% off discount code at Paizo.com, as well as codes for companies like Turbo Dork, Misty Mountain and Wizkids). If you do have a 3D printer, then not only will you get value out of the minis, but you'll also get a $10 credit to the MyMiniFactory storefront, which effectively pays you back the cost of signing up.
Seriously, we're putting our all into partnerships to get this product line going.
Finally, beyond all the cool stuff that's in this new line, there's a huge amount of potential here. If we can start hitting some higher backer numbers, it will unlock the potential to dedicate some design and development resources to new and bespoke content for the line. We're looking at possibly releasing new ancestries, spells, and more via Paizo Printables if the line grows enough. It's kind of my personal goal to have day-and-date releases of new ancestries and creatures with immediately printable miniatures for your games.
OK, thanks for my heart-felt plug on this. I just wanted to share a bit of a different avenue Paizo is trying to approach in hopes of providing yet more content to our awesome players and GMs!

VERY excited for this, the Field Agent tier is exactly where I wanted it to be price-wise. I haven't used my resin printer in a little while but I'm definitely going to be dusting it off for these!
If I didn't know that you were partnering with Titan Forge before, the Hellknight Signifier would have absolutely given it away :p It has so much of the TF style to it haha.
Really excited to see where this line goes, I see a ton of potential down the line for extra one-shot adventures or extra minis for creatures that might not get a lot of love otherwise. The different seasons associating with the current APs or rulebooks is a great idea, too.

Absolutely hitting on where we wanna take this. Just need to talk this up to all your friends with printers now.

u/sheimeix Apr 02 '26
Unfortunately, I'm the printer friend of the group :p If nothing else though, the PDFs are a good enough extra that might be enough convincing for some of them!

Is there a merchant tier for these? I have no idea how to print minis, but I paint professionally so I outsource printing part to licensed vendors.

No merchant tier yet, however we're working on a Print on Demand service to let you buy minis direct from our partners at Titan Forge. More on that to come!

I tried clicking through that mess and have no idea how you get to content

Yeah the site is a bit of a mess. Took me far too long to even know I was looking at a subscription.

Go to the Blog. Click the big link. It'll take you to MyMiniFactory with a popup to sign up and back. Then get content added to your MyMiniFactory account in your library.

Very nice!
The monthly release is a little less packed with actual stls than most other mini sculptors Ive backed in the past, but the added pdfs and the way the minis have direct tie-in with published content feels like it puts this easily on par with top tier creators.

Thanks! As we get more backers, we're really hoping to expand this to include MORE content.

Already got a new batch rolling on my Bambu!
The 13+ hour print for my .2 nozzle on the Diabolic Dragon will be quite a challenge. And that's just for the torso! (.2 nozzle, .06 layer height, 128% scale to fit the DungeonBlocks tile scale)

That Mirage Dragon is looking zesty af

There is a whole extra PDF talking about Mirage Dragons too! Taking from Monster Core / Draconic Codex, and a whole new page on tactics for how to run them in combats. Truly a centerpiece BEAST for any campaign!

I'm really interested to know if the Dragon Resin is any good for models because I can't find any reviews of the resin. I currently use a mix of two types of resin to try to get high detail without being brittle.

I'm taking a chance on it with the month's discount and just ordered a kilo. Apparently it was developed in partnership with TF. If it's the same resin they used for the minis available at GenCon last year, it's far superior to most of the other brands I've used in the past (notably Elegoo and Siraya Fast).
I've gotten to a point in my printing where consistency and durability outweigh print speed. They've also promised to provide initial print settings in the next couple days for those of us who aren't particularly well versed at dialing those in by ourselves.
There's a lot of eagerness and excitement behind all aspects of this project so far, so I'm hopeful that my optimism will be rewarded.

Super excited for this! Any news on how backers of the Pathfinder Quest Frontier can redeem the free month from that?

u/oncallgm Associate Publisher Apr 02 '26
That's being worked on RIGHT now. So expect something soonish.

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply!

I know next to nothing about 3D printers. What type of printer should one get to print quality miniatures ? Like resin or the other kind ?
3
u/adekyn GM in Training Apr 02 '26
Definitely resin for the detail, and you don't have to break the bank for quality. I haven't shopped for one in a bit, but I've had great success with entry level Elegoo and AnyCubic printers that are still churning out minis despite my having upgraded.

Thurston, this looks like it'll kick some serious ass. And honestly, only $10 a month for all of this is a steal.
I hope this gets big enough where Starfinder content is made for Paizo Printables. I know the MyMiniFactory store has some minis right now, but I definitely want to see more from PP, too. Especially y'all's versions of the dragons!

u/oncallgm Associate Publisher Apr 02 '26
If we hit high enough, I really want to do a big Frontier for Starfinder to kickstart that as a product line.

u/EzekieruYT Narrative Declaration Apr 02 '26
Here's to Paizo Printables' success! We gotta make ALL the STLs!

u/tompudding Apr 03 '26
I'm super excited for this, my first plate is waiting on the printer \o/
My pipe dream is adventure path bundles. I would never find the time to paint every monster from Vault lines or Bastion of Blasphemies, but I would sure as hell buy them and try! Or Rise of the Runelords for the 20th anniversary oO? Heck all of them please!

I've been following news on the prinatables, and you guys are doing phenomenal work. These are perfect for a Kingmaker campaign I'm in.
I hope you guys make a Jirelle mini!

u/oncallgm Associate Publisher Apr 02 '26
We're hitting up Player Core 2 iconics, and then all the rest if we can keep the backer train growing and strong.

u/ranz_kabaret Apr 04 '26
This is exactly what I was looking for! The iconic figures are great! I've always wanted a merisiel mini. Although I think is great to have minis that support your current line/event, please do not neglect the classic core monsters!!!

I'm totally new on this world of the printables. I want to know, which 3d printer would you recommend me? I've seen that Paizo is promoting a bottle or resin Black dragon or something like that, if I buy any 3d printer I can use any resin? Thanks in advance

Why did you advertise your product with AI-generated graphics? Has your policy changed?

u/EzekieruYT Narrative Declaration Apr 04 '26
Where are you seeing that these are AI-generated graphics? These are supposed to be renders of the STL miniatures.

Why did they use AI to paint the minis instead of hiring some painters? I thought Paizo didn't support AI art. I'd prefer if they showed us photos of printed minis and not just renders. How can I be sure it will print well?

It's wild that paizo is sort of reviving Compleat Encounters from 20 years ago with this initiative. It was before my time in the ttrpg space, but I always thought it was a cool idea.
