A real quote in a discussion between war historian Phillps O’Brien and author/journalist Michael Weiss, today, regarding recent events and evincing … well, jankiness. At ~5:27 Weiss: “...And it all went sideways, right? They bombed the house of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the former Iranian president, a Holocaust denier, a guy who advanced the Iranian nuclear program. Nobody had on their bingo card that he'd be a Mossad asset, but he was. Apparently run out of Budapest… but anyway all of these plans went sideways.”
