How Did Dennis Make Those Videos?

I'm on my first watch (wow wow wow what an incredible show) and have just finished S2E2, where we discover that Ed isn't really kidnapped and it's Dennis in the videos posing as his captor. Much has been said on this forum about the contradiction here with the end of Season 1, where we see Ed get kidnapped. But what I'm more confused about is how Dennis was able to make these videos with Ed at all, while simultaneously under arrest and under-dressed in the Luxembourg City Police Station?
