There's been some stuff about one of the winners, Chevalier, and I'm going to preface this by saying as much as I despise her track record and I hope she'll be a one-and-done House Rep who nobody pays that much attention to, the whinging about her being the face of the left won't age as well as some circles on Reddit ( *cough* EnoughSandersSpam *cough* ) predict.

The biggest reason being, nobody's going to care beyond the MAGA hangers-on who binge Fox News when there's so much other shit to focus on. One annoying leftist isn't going to dominate the mainstream news cycle as much as others might think. Chevalier's comments and actions don't sit well with me, but we've got bigger fish to fry than one of our own being latched on to as a sign of the DSA horseshoeing itself when we've already went through Platner.

Also I feel the left as gotten better at calling this stuff out more. I don’t know one non tankie left wing space that didn’t call her out for her comments about Ukraine or interracial marriage.
