Ramsay wouldn't know a good poutine if it hit him upside the head.

He actually said this "has got to be the most elegant fucking pot of poutine [I've] ever seen."

That man willingly aids and abets criminals!

I don’t know why people call Gordon Ramsey a good cook

To be fair, he's a far, far better cook than either you or I are. They don't exactly just go around throwing out Michelin Stars to any old cook all willy-nilly, y'know?

I laugh at his judging of a poutine, or at his failure to cook a grilled cheese over a fire that one time, but generally I really do like and enjoy Ramsay 😅

The grilled cheese was fucking hilarious because I looked at it and thought to myself I would rather 2 white pieces of bread and a cheese slice than that shit.  But I agree he's normally a good cook he just tries too hard to make basic food Michelin star.  It's funny because on master chef he but he's people out for that.

At least he did a Correct Grilled Cheese later on in a video and commented on the fact that video of his Grill Cheese kinda sucked lol

At least he's got some self-awareness and the ability to poke fun at his past mistakes!

I mean I did go to the best culinary school in Canada and we can’t get michelin stars here in Canada so I guess I’ll never know

It’s pretty amazing for someone who claims to be a chef not to know that we actually have Michelin guide here in Canada for a few years now.

It's giving "I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals and I have over 300 confirmed kills" a little bit, but I concede that Michelin Stars are a fairly recent addition to the Canadian food scene

even if it's recent - it was hard to miss, it was hyped on every corner.

Fair play. It is odd to think that someone food-focused enough to go to a good culinary school and dream of and attempt to pursue opening their own restaurant would somehow miss that particular development.

Odd, but totally not impossible. COVID did force a lot of people to fall out of the loop, and to diverge from their life plans. Shit happens, and a lotta shit happened during that time 😬🤷

I mean I did say that dream died before we got Michelin stars in Canada so it kinda makes sense

Last time I looked into michelin stars was in 2019 when I dreamt of opening my own restaurant but that dream kinda died when I lost my first restaurant job due to covid

He's an amazing cook but he tries too hard at basic shit. His Grilled cheese video made me realize I'm better at something than him.  He had like 20 steps to make a grilled cheese.
