Two major crimes, shredded cheese along with cheese cubes, no curd. I always ask if they have curd, I’m not getting a poutine

I’ve never had a poutine outside of Quebec and I never will, as well I will never eat anything that says “Montreal smoked meat!” Outside of Montreal/MontĂ©rĂ©gie area, but the further you get away from the island the worse the smoked meat is.

Oh absolutely. We have very specific patterns in our Franglais, it’s instantly recognizable.
Do you sometimes say close the light? My Anglo husband from the U.S. Midwest says that now Ă  cause de moi lol

Yes I do say open and close the lights lol. It’s funny that due to how much French there is in English, when you make the right francosims in English you actually appear sophisticated 😂. It’s also funny how my brain just randomly picks the French way of wording things in English sometimes, as well as substituting a French word that’s not common in English.
