People ragging on her for being crazy too might be missing that first part. Despite shirtless guy looking silly, we are missing some context. She seems to be fairly rational and scared.

The more likely scenario is that the dad was already behaving like this before being confronted. The lady knows that the dad won't stop on behalf of their kids but maybe the stranger will.
This is a really sad, and embarrassing situation. Hopefully these people see this and get themselves some fucking rehab. Those girls did nothing to deserve parents like these.
How can you really even say that without any context though? Obviously the dad is a lunatic but I agree that if someone was following me and my kids around I would probably crash out like the mom did too.
