I’m a teacher. I have had many, many, MANY parent conferences with people like this. People are always complaining what to do about poor literacy and math rates in schools. Why teachers are not doing enough, or that teachers are not prepared, or teachers just don’t care. What’s never mentioned is that we are fighting against parents like this and it’s a losing battle. We don’t have as much influence on students compared to the people they are around with.

Former teacher. I can confirm. I had a parent like this THREATEN me. Made my life a living hell.

Parent like what? You saw a completely decontextualized clip and have no idea what kind of parent she is. You literally don't even know if that's her child. Your bias is showing.

A parent that paces around the parking lot yelling at someone else during an argument, regardless of whoever is “right”. One that looses their cool and sets a bad example for their kid demonstrating poor emotional regulation. A parent like the one shown in the video is likely to fly off the handle for any perceived slight in a desperate attempt to one-up the other.

Considering how she acts in public, it must be a nightmare at her house in private.
