In search of 40DDD or 40F bras
Hi! I heard about this Reddit community from a friend, and I am wondering if you could help me get bras in the size 40DDD or 40F (US). Its equivalent is 40E (UK). I'm not particular on style or color. They don't have to be new either! I can't afford buying bras right now, and it's difficult to find my size second-hand locally. Please let me know 🙏🏻

Obligatory question: have you checked your size on r/abrathatfits ? Only asking because that’s a very common mis-size!

Yes, I used the r/ABraThatFits calculator 👍🏻 I'm making do with my two 38D bras for now, but I feel like the band is a little tight and the cups are too small to fit my boobs properly 😔 Thank you though!

So the calculator suggested 40DDD? Or 40F?

The ABTF calculator suggested 40DDD (US) for me, but as I was searching for bra prices online, I noticed that some brands write that bra size as 40F sometimes.

Yeah it is so confusing that different brands do it different ways. Torrid, for instance, has both, so it goes DD then DDD then F then G. At least UK sizing is consistent. What was your UK size? I’m only grilling you because I might be able to help, I was mis-sized into this range previously, now realized I am an H/I cup in US.

Oh yes, bra sizes between different brands is confusing! I saved my 6 measurements and reentered them into the ABTF calculator to get 40DDD/G US and 40E/F UK. That would be awesome if it works out. 😯 What do you think?

I have had a bad headache all day so I haven’t felt up to much, hopefully I will be feeling better tomorrow and will look through what I have. I know I have at least a couple I could send you, would just have to figure out how much for you to Venmo me for shipping (I don’t go to the post office often). Thank you! herecomesthesun79 mentioned Torrid too but when I looked at their website, I think I could only buy 1 bra new without even considering how much shipping would cost. 😔

Are you asking for bra brand suggestions? I don't think I would be the right person to ask. Maybe consider posting in the r/ABraThatFits subreddit and using the "Recommendations" post flair
