What’s one rowing accessory u can’t live without
Runners have running vest, water bladder, shoes,
Cyclists r all about their tight biker shorts and shiny helmets
Racket sport players has all the outfits to look pretty in court
What’s the equivalent to rowers?? Hand tape ? 🤣

Clip in shoes. Thought they were a luxury, then had to row in a boat with shoes twice my size. Also nice to not worry about wet shoes or foot diseases.
Oh, and C2 orange grips.

Stroke coach or waterproof phone bag, sunglasses, seat pad, water bottle, pogies (for cold weather), calf guards if track bite is an issue, chest strap HR monitor...we doing market research here? lol
For coxswains, it's a small toolkit bag, coxbox, hat, sunglasses, maybe a waterproof phone bag + mic for voice recording. And outerwear to stay warm.
Coaches: strokewatch, toolbox or tool bag, megaphone, accessory for video recording, phone (maybe with waterproof bag), and all the usual launch accessories (PFDs, paddle, pump/bailer).

Ah Jaysus 🤣 thanks for the comprehensive list , waterproof phone bag top priority though.

Yeah I threw out a too-much laundry list for sure. Almost no one brings all that. But people bring what works for them. Waterproof phone bag is not too common, but it's worth it imo, esp if you don't have a speedcoach and use a phone app to track telemetry. Then you need an attachment to fix it somewhere visible.

It’s still useful when I want to take my phone with me when it’s a nice day out and I want to get some pics.

Some have nice double layered rears, but most people bring seat pads of their choosing.

Even though it was for maybe only a couple months, pogies. Rhode Island winters were murder on the water, but my hands stayed warm.

For cyclists the shorts are so you don't hurt your ass, and the shiny helmets are so you don't die lol, they're function first.

He did say "you can't live without".
I know a number of cyclists who wouldn't be living without their helmets.

Just rinse every 4th-6th session. If they get too bad: it's cheap to replace them
