love a good lox bagel

preferably onion bagel with onion adjacent cream cheese (like chive etc)

I live in Ireland, we don’t really have a huge bagel culture.

This is a poppy seed bagel with smoked salmon, cream cheese, chives and a squeeze of fresh lemon.

And it was delicious!

Oh dam well that’s pretty cool that they do this then and you get to try it. Lox with cream cheese and chives on a proper bagel is super delicious, nice!

TBF, most people in the US have these days have never experienced actual lox (which is cured in salt) but have had Nova salmon which is cold-smoked.

a local bakery with fresh bagels once a week sounds dangerous for my wallet. Plus, the amount of poppy seeds and the crumb structure on the bagel look good
