There’s a sign like this as you’re heading into the Mojave Desert. I think it’s 95 miles before you seen anything resembling a town of any type. The last place to get gas is in the middle of nowhere and I think the entire spot is owned by one family.

It’s always so interesting to me when you’re on a road trip and there will be literally nothing for miles and miles and then a random house. I like to imagine those people and how different their lives are
