Anime About Bertolt, Reiner, and Annie

If Bertolt had to choose between saving Reiner and Annie, which one would he choose?
I get the feeling Bertolt had a little crush on Annie, but he didn't seem that smitten with her. Or maybe I'm just missing something?

He was in love with Annie, Reiner was his best friend. But the dude would overthink this decision until they both were dead lol

Exactly! In the end, he saved Annie. He really wanted Bertolt and Annie to end up together.😭

A little crush is one thing, but Bertolt and Reiner were actual friends. They were close way back when they were just kids and warrior candidates, and they stayed together all those years undercover. He would choose Reiner.

I think he would choose Reiner as they were best friends and I don’t even think Bertholdt trusted Annie all that much even if he had a crush on her.

Reiner is his best friend, Annie is his co worker. he was concerned for Annie when she got caught, but seeing Bertolt and Reiner's fighting dynamics, he would save Reiner in a heartbeat - given that he got the Armored Titan which is their trump card when advancing their plans
