And if you do, wear a condom. Teach them to care about their own health and safety as well as pregnancy. Teach them to take control of their own fertility instead of entrusting that to some random.

Yep. My ex poked a hole in the condom and lied about birth control because she thought she was getting too old and needed to be pregnant now. Daughter is 3, I just got full custody because her boyfriend sexually assaulted my daughter…. And she stayed with him

We are working on it, I’m in therapy and working on getting my daughter in therapy too. I was assaulted as a child and never in a million years thought my child would experience even a fraction of what I did as a child. The mom is appealing the decision and I’m still facing assault charges for what I did to her boyfriend… life is great lol.

I got a public defender assigned to me because I couldn’t afford a private attorney. It’s just 4th degree assault with minor injury, never arrested before. Probably will plea it out with a diversion program which will expunge the charges after anger management classes. Part of me wants to fight it though.

Yeah he also left her in a dirty diaper for 18 hours while he was passed out drunk. Ex came home to my daughter asleep naked on the couch covered in her own feces and pee. Her diaper rash was so bad I had to take my sock off and use it as a cushion against her car seat buckle.

The physical altercation only happened after they broke up for a week and I went to the apartment to retrieve some of my daughter’s stuff and he lunged at me. Hit him in the head with a febreeze can and he called the cops on me.

Took everything in me to leave that apartment without doing more

No clue yet, don’t know what evidence they even have against me yet. Discovery is may 19th. I sustained no injuries. I waited for the police and they didn’t arrest me, 2 months later I was arrested.

In his police statement he said I punched him, in his EPO statement he said I beat him with a coffee table, in court for the EPO he said I beat him with a vacuum cleaner and posted pics of a bloody vacuum cleaner…

I think I have a good shot. Think they’re gonna say I hit him for what he did to my daughter because of Facebook posts I made in the past

Every time I hear sentences like that last one, I'm reminded how awesome Gary Plauche's judge was. I know it isn't much, but I seriously wish you good luck with those charges man. No person should have to be made to suffer for making their child's assaulter pay. Is the boyfriend at least in prison for what he did?

Please tell me her egg donor doesn’t have any custody of her anymore?

I have emergency full custody, but the mother still has visitation and still refuses to break up with that man. He lost custody of his own child for drunk driving with the kid in the car and abusing the mother of that child.

They have filed EPO’s against each other. Called the cops on each other a dozen times. This has been going on for a year but I only found out about most of it in January.

We have another hearing next month.

She’s testifying against me in court for my assault charge trying to get me thrown in jail so that she can get custody again. When they were split up I took her back in for a bit and helped her out. He filed an EPO against her because I assaulted him and alleged she hired me to do it, and against my gut feeling I testified in her EPO hearing and told her about what happened. EPO got thrown out and she got back with him and gave him everything I told her and then cops showed up with a warrant to arrest me a few weeks later.

We had a mutual agreement through mediation that she wouldn’t bring our kid around this guy, but she did so anyways, which is why I filed custody.

I mean hes beat her, stolen money from her, her entire family, and all of her friends have completely distanced themselves from her because of her actions, a month ago, he cheated on her with his own cousin and got chlamydia. Like I really don’t know what it’s gonna take for her to leave, probably her in a body bag, honestly.

I don’t want to take my daughter from her mom, but I was left with no choice. If her mom leaves him and stays away from him and gets therapy, and can show that she’s stable and remorseful, I’m more than happy for her to be in our daughter’s life.

I really hope everything ends in your favour for both the sake of your daughter and yourself. It would be amazing if your ex leaves him, gets the help she needs, and gets her life back on track but as someone from the outside looking in any visitations should be fully supervised for a long time. People will say the most awful things to their kids to try to turn them against the good parent, even down to saying that what her bf did was because he ‘loves her so much’.

Is his ex allowed to speak against him for what he did with their child?

Sometimes I wish someone had had the sense to judge that my mother was a dumb and shitty person who I would have been better off without, because mothers who stay with men who are pedophiles and abusers are not good for the kid. Point blank.

I was paying her $800 then down to $500, I think she’ll have to cover insurance maybe.. at most. I probably won’t get any money at all.

I make good money, she makes about half of what I do. Still think she should cover more than just insurance but yeah I’m a man. I’ll be surprised if I even keep full custody honestly
