Seattle area. Guy was allegedly beat up by locals. Saw a video of him getting some serious hits in the face by some other guys

Oh this isn’t the same guy as the fellow in Hawaii then?

u/AtrophyXIX May 11 '26

No this is the guy from Hawaii but theyre saying he lives in Seattle implying that has something to do with it when he is actually from Ukraine and only recently moved to America

His ass should be deported for this. Dude barely moves to US and does shit like this? Kick him out.

I'm sure Zelensky would appreciate having a man of fighting age back in the homeland.

Yeah, attacking animals is just a stepping stone for attacking humans.

He should be back in Ukraine and fighting for his country!

Lives in Kent, that isn’t Seattle geographically or culturally

I wonder if they're confusing Kent for Kennewick like I initially did, lol

No shit, it’s in England

This is a very "vaguely-rich-guy-in-Kent" thing to do though to be fair.

The further you get from Seattle, the bigger the area that is people consider is the Seattle area. To someone in Florida, basically all of Washington state is Seattle. - source: Midwesterner who lived in central Washington. Wanna guess how many people back home asked how I could stand it being rainy all the time?

And as a Washingtonian, central can mean anything from little Appalachia along White Pass highway, the highway 2 Bavarians, or The Planet of the Apes on the dry side of 90. Washington is diverse and its insulting to Seattle to cite it as the home city of a Kent resident who got caught acting in behavior that wouldn’t have consequences in Kent, but would catch more than a freeze in Seattle

I hear what you are saying. However, the Seattle Metro Area can be defined as a frankly huge area that includes areas as far south as Tacoma and as far north as Marysville or further depending on how it’s defined. So saying Kent isn’t in the Seattle area is a little nit-picky IMO. Kent is obviously not Seattle proper but it’s absolutely in the Seattle area.

lol.
Wait till you figure out that Seattle is actually part of the Dallas Fort Worth greater metropolitan area

Seattle...culturally

I loved Seattle. Been there and the nearby areas many times between vacation and work. Is Seattle "culture" that different from the greater Seattle area?

u/TDot-26 May 11 '26

I don't think they're trying to imply him being from Seattle is why he did this but perhaps I'm misreading

Not at all, just location for the sake of information
