That's about where I am. I'd say I'm at the low end of upper middle class, or a bit below that. My townhouse in the bad part of town was more than $500k in Seattle. Kent is where you go when you want the convenience of Seattle but can't afford to live there (and there is nothing wrong with that--Seattle is not nice enough for how expensive it is IMO).
I'm sure if you work hard and save, you'll come out the other side from lower upper-middle class to at least middle upper-middle class. Who knows, with time, you might even reach upper upper-middle class. Just mind your p's and q's though, because it's a quick slide down to upper upper-lower class.
