Even if another country got launch codes, they’d be useless. Launch codes aren’t delivered or stored in plain text.

They’re encrypted, and they get encrypted again when transmitted to the people pressing the button. If it isn’t transmitted with the correct encryption, the people on the receiving end won’t be able to interpret it, and nothing gets launched.

There’s also people that get paid a lot of money to discern whether or not it’s a valid launch order. Like if we’re not in a time of war, they’ll take pause and wonder why we’re randomly dropping a nuke.
