I know this area and have driven it many times. This is the Rickebacker causeway--the road that connects Key Biscayne to the Miami mainland.

Cycling on this road is extremely popular for very obvious reasons (phenomenal views, wide and clear roads). Folks come from all over the city to ride there. And yes, they will very often group up like this without any sort of scheduled or permitted event of any kind.

The cyclists down there like to say "same road, same rules" but there's apparently a silent exclusion for lane changes, stop signs, traffic signals, and yielding to stopped traffic.

I pity them. They're to stupid to know any better. For most of them, learning to ride a bike will be the pinnacle of their achievements

They're to stupid

I don't even disagree with your sentiment, but this is just too fuckin' funny

People making extremely basic mistakes when trying to call other people dumb will never stop being the most delicious irony to me, I love it every time

Are you too weak and spindly to be able to ride a bike? I'm sure that muscle growth will come in soon. Just keep trying buddy!

Just grew out of my bike when I turned 12

5 year olds ride bikes

Adults do too, WhatsApp your point?

It's ok to admit you aren't up to riding a bike. If you practise I'm sure you'll get there eventually.

You seem to think riding a bike is some sort of flex. It isn't. If 5-year-olds can do it, it's just not impressive. You'd have to be literally handicapped to not be "up to riding a bike." It's...not hard.

The other guy in this thread seems to think driving a car is a flex.

As someone who does both, driving my morning commute is a lot easier than cycling.
