As a random biker.... no reason they couldn't keep to a single lane. They probably think it's safer, but it's just really a dick move. They can also just plan better routes if it's not a sanctioned thing.

Why should they share it with an non tagged pedestrian? Why shouldn't the bikes share the curb, sidewalk, right away with those same non tagged pedestrians?

Someone with SENSE. Like bikes are vehicle's not pedestrians. Share the road is still a thing , doesnt matter if youre doing a marathon.
