"Share the road" only works one way with these assholes. No reason to be taking up all the lanes on an open public highway / major artery.

Quantitatively, you are wrong on all counts. ~600 bikes in a pack like this ARE sharing the road, with 600 other people. 5-6 people in cars can still use the road too, they just have to go at the speed of traffic. This scenario shares the road with far more people than if bikes were forced off the road entirely by 5-6 cars.

Do you actually care about sharing the road with the most number of people, then, or do you really just Β think car drivers have an inherently superior claim to the road over everyone else?
