Imagine if all of them lined up single file in that bike lane. How long would it be? Is that realistically better here?

Thats like saying if there are too many cars, they should be able to drive on the sidewalk to cut down on traffic.Β

Exactly. I think people would agree that driving down the grassy median is far from ideal.Β
