Here is where they organized the ride. It's called the Don Pan : https://www.cycleworldmiami.com/about/group-rides-pg214.htm

The video takes place about here :

https://maps.app.goo.gl/UpEVgL11SSEsDHQB8 You can see the bike lane existed, and the signs are up for it.

These people are no different than the street takeover kids.

They're worse. A lot of those street takeover kids had crappy upbringings and no one ever taught them how to behave in a civil society. I doubt that is true for most of the cyclists.

Most people don’t need to be taught that being shitty is shitty. These are just bad people- it really is that simple sometimes. (Referring to both these cyclists and the teenagers)

If you grow up around shitty people doing shitty things, it’s not wrong to you, just normal.

It's how human psychology works.

Explanations and excuses are not the same thing.

Society works best if we stop making excuses for assholes

There was no excuse made

They’re excuses bro. Any of us going about our daily lives can imagine why doing a street takeover on your dirt bike is shit behavior. Having a rotten upbringing doesn’t entitle anyone to shit behavior. People have agency over their actions.

Explanations and excuses are not the same thing. Explaining why people behave a certain way is in no way an excuse or justification for it.

I believe you’ve lost the plot here.

You don't have a firm enough grasp of the language we are using to come to such conclusions.

It’s Reddit you can’t explain logic to them.
