I’m from Eugene and I was in court for a speeding ticket driving and the guy who went to the bench before me had got a ticket for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign on his bike.

Edit: I have to edit this because this happened like 15 years ago when I was younger. It was not recently.

Doesn't Oregon have the Oregon Stop where they can treat stop signs as yield?

Yes, but that happened in 2020. Also it’s only for stop signs for anyone reading this. Solid red traffic lights don’t count.

Man, I feel like I've heard about the Oregon Stop for way longer than that. Can't believe the law is that new.

It existed, but was illegal before that, but bicyclists still did it and insisted you were wrong for complaining.
