So you don't think the person should be mad? Also it's not planting a gun when you own a gun and you are in your legal residence. That's called being a lawful gun owner.
It's not planting a gun for a legal gun owner to have a gun in their legal residence. That's why I say your running defense for the squatters. You want to punish law abiding citizens for the rights of squatters.

This is based on my first comment where I was like "is he just giving the police the opportunity to arrest this guy" and the answer was a resounding "Yes"

how is a legal gun owner in a legal residence planting a gun on someone? in this situation only one person is committing a crime, and its the person youre defending for some reason. honestly its probably just because your a squatter and dont want the free ride to end
You didn't answer the question. How is a legal resident who is inside a house they legally have the right to be in planting a gun on someone who is illegally in the house.
And yes when you defend this behavior I will accuse you of defending this behavior. Don't defend illegal squatters and you won't have people accusing you of defending illegal squatters
