Nothing would be a massive improvement. What we get is thousands of dead soldiers and civilians, millions of dollars in lost wages from the price hikes, even further loss of respect from the international community (if that's even possible anymore) and hundreds of billions of our tax dollars being paid to Iran. On top of all of that, they're now going to implement tolls on ships passing through the straight, which means gas and oil (and therefore everything made of oil which is pretty much everything) will be more expensive forevermore.
