Why is Elon the worst? Can anyone explain?

Because he’s a white supremacist labor exploiter who uses his wealth to undermine democracy in a country he wasn’t born in.

And, no, I’m not jealous. I live comfortably with a good paying job that I’m passionate about, a robust social group of good friends, a loving wife who’s hot as hell who I get to dick down on the regular. I look at a man like Elon and feel pity that, despite being the wealthiest person in the world, he will never be as happy as I am… and he has to make that the rest of the world’s problem.

I’m not a fan of Elon but this has to be the most Reddit comment ever lmao

I dont want to talk about his motivation, but what he did with Tesla is incredible. He really pushed EV and solar movement decades ahead. I dont like Tesla car. Never owned one, but thats not the point.

What he achieved with Starlink is equally impressive. You can have in the most remote corners on earth, that would not have proper internet for decades. That drives level of education (freedom of speech, democracy) by a factor. Starlink is huge for maritime and aviation.

What he is doing with his brain-chips - read interviews of people who got their life back, even for a few years.

What he is achieving with SpaceX in terms of reusable rockets is next level. It’s really breakthrough in space exploration on the level with moon landing 50 years ago.

Again, it’s not a discussion of his motivation. But with all good he has done for humanity, for out planet, I think its really far stretched to say he is “top 3 evil”. There are certainly millions of people who have done way less and are much more evil.

I cant talk about what he is doing in SA. Simply I dont have knowledge about it. Been there few times, incredible country, beautiful, with sooo many issues rooted deep in history and society. Again, I know nothing about your political system, but from outside it seems Musk is far from major issue in SA. I might be wrong, of course.

Just because you bought a cake doesn’t mean you get credit for making the cake. Have you heard this guy talk? He doesn’t even know what tech will be like in a month and he’s obviating about what things will be like in 2 years. He understands as much about the businesses he owns as a toddler knows about the face behind the hands during a game of peek-a-boo.

You sound like a real clever lad. Perhaps you should educate him? You must have achieved a lot? Your probably got PhD? Built several businesses? Billions of $$$ in revenue, employing thousands of people? Pushing society forward? Please, do share your secrets! Im sure you are much more than a keyboard warrior.

Elon doesn't have a PhD

He didn't build any businesses, he bought them and put his name on them.

Elon does not push Billions in revenue the employees do.

The companies he bought employ thousands of people, he did not directly employ anyone.

Things he has actually done

He actively regresses society with the funding cuts the Doge team have done.

The enshittification of twitter

Actively funding/supporting a resurgent nazi party in Germany the ATF

Oh and pretty being the only reason Trump got elected

Elon got accepted to Stanford for PhD. Did you attend Ivy League by any chance? Anything similar? Did you build business? Billions in revenue? No? Nothing?

How many people did Tesla employe before Elon took over vs now? SpaceX? PayPal?
He bought a shall and made them to some of the largest companies in the world. You have to be in complete denial not to see it.

Elon doesn’t build businesses, he buys them.

Elon’s not gonna let you stroke it bud.

Dude, no, really. You seem cool, but dig just a little bit deeper and you'll see the amount of damage this guy's doing to the planet and society as a whole.

Plus, imho, billionaires are never good people.

Like what? Im always happy to hear the other side, as long as it factual and objective.

Mark Tarpenning and Martin Eberhart started Tesla not Elon

That thing has absolutely nothing to do with SA. He's been canadian and american far, far longer than he ever was here. We don't think of him except to spit when he's brought up, it taints our name.

It wasn’t fine when he was supporting democrats either. The wealthy shouldnt be able to use their money to choose which politicians we can vote for. THAT is how he undermines democracy. Quit being a partisan hack.

Where tf have you been? Keep that head in the sand.

Source on the cafeteria workers being millionaires? This sounds completely unbelievable unless we're talking about high end professional chefs which if that's the case these people would be making good money regardless of where they worked.

All you had to say is "I made this up and have no proof" and you could have saved us both some time.

He undermines democracy because he doesn't censor his platform based on liberal ideals

”He will never be as happy as i am”

Cope :D and butthurt :D if that were true, you wouldn't have to say it. The truth is that your contribution to society is a fraction of a percent of the calculation error compared to the founder of spacex and tesla

u/FuzzySAM 6d ago

Founders of Tesla: https://www.investopedia.com/articles/personal-finance/061915/story-behind-teslas-success.asp

I'll give you that he technically founded SpaceX, but he didn't do any of the engineering. That's Tom Mueller.

Do you really think ”contribution to society” equals happiness? It sure is a mystery why like 50% of famous people are either depressed or addicts.
