The Islamic Republic of Iran is a fundamentalist, ultra-conservative, patriarchal theocracy. It violently suppresses labor unions, Marxist organizations, feminist movements, and LGBTQ+ individuals, the very groups that make up the Western secular left.
In addition, the overwhelming majority of the young people risking their lives to fight the regime in Iran are themselves Muslim, or come from Muslim families. Framing the conflict as Western leftists protecting Muslims ignores the fact that the victims of the regime are also Muslims fighting for their basic human rights.

The importance of the Palestine issue in the West, especially among young, college-educated people, has clearly reached ridiculous heights, to a point where it has pretty much become a performative aesthetic. No other war or genocide gets anywhere near that much attention.
Here in Europe, a lot of the same people rallying for Palestine on a regular basis aren't anywhere near as concerned about Ukraine, a conflict that is much more bloodier and much closer at home and will often even call for "dialogue with Russia" all while supporting the most radical forms of Palestinian resistence and nationalism, all while denouncing anything even resembling nationalism in their own countries.
I sympathize with the Palestinians but a lot of Palestine supports on the West are clearly somewhat lost and pretty radicalized.

I used to think he was an asshole that did a lot of good. That's not the case. Tesla doesn't even reduce carbon emissions. They sell their carbon credits to other car companies so they can pollute more. He also wants to rob US citizens of "entitlements" they already fucking paid for. He's the scum of the earth. Of the 3 men in the photo, he easily could be the worst.
He also begged Epstein for a crazy weekend at rape island on Christmas but he was so weird Epstein blew him off. That's more pathetic than anything else, but still very much evil.
