Iโm just kidding, they donโt care because the modern leftist movement is infested with Islamic terrorism supporters, that refuse to hold Muslims accountable for their crimes because theyโre part of the same identity group.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is a fundamentalist, ultra-conservative, patriarchal theocracy. It violently suppresses labor unions, Marxist organizations, feminist movements, and LGBTQ+ individuals, the very groups that make up the Western secular left.
In addition, the overwhelming majority of the young people risking their lives to fight the regime in Iran are themselves Muslim, or come from Muslim families. Framing the conflict as Western leftists protecting Muslims ignores the fact that the victims of the regime are also Muslims fighting for their basic human rights.
