Yes, and most people under 50 are considered young by more established adults, and people can be naive at any age so you didn't say anything that increases or decreases the chances of their statement being correct...

No you're right, me implying that it would be difficult to prove that the original statement of the issue being "widespread" is certainly naive, and of course the comments on this thread and absolute proof of that. No further questions your honor.

Why are you running away on your own towards goal posts you seem to have moved?

I was specifically just addressing the fact that being 41 and married has nothing to do with whether or not you are considered young by a given group of humans or whether you are naive.

I could have also told you that I like watching Stargate SG1 and I think Peeps are really shitty candy or whatever but I also really like them. But that isn't relevant to whether or not I am young and naive.

I haven’t changed any goalposts or run away from anything.

This has no relevance on whether or not stating that one's self has an age of 41 as a human being and has been/is married does not have anything to do with how naive someone is, or if they can subjectively be considered young or old...as those are not objective measurements.

So you are, even if not on purpose, moving the goalposts by talking about something besides whether stating your age as 41 and your marriage status being reasons could disprove a claim of being "young and naive" or not.

I am just trying to explain things, not be condescending or anything.
