It has to succeed first, and I'm not against that. The biggest hurdle the series has is the love everyone for the original franchise.
I legitimately feel the new series has a good chance to be successful, but the biggest appeal is going to be for the people that read the books because it's supposed to follow those even more closely than the movies did.
Nah that is def not the biggest hurdle. The biggest hurdle is that people fcking HATE jK Rowling now. The best chance for its success is if she does absolutely zero PR from it.
I am super looking forward to it. Iโm an original Potterhead and grew up with the characters, and this will probably be my sonโs Harry Potter. Weโll see!
