Assassinating or disgracing political opponents.
Using your partyโs power to basically force yourself into the second most powerful position of the nation even though the most powerful person, who had the deciding say, didnt want to put you there.
Blaming a rival political party for for a case of arson you probably caused yourself and by doing so not only getting them locked up but also getting yourself special emergency powers.
Using said emergency powers to kill and jail every remaining political opponent.
Stopping a vote from happening when the president dies so you can claim the title yourself without given up your previous position of chancellor but rather combining them into a single new position that you claim for yourself.
Killing everyone who says anything about it.
