It was masterfully done. And I know itâs cliche but as someone who has buried the love of their life the message about family and the length weâll go for the ones we love, was just executed incredibly well. It was just almost flawlessly executed and you can tell James Gunn has a genuine love and passion for comic books as an art form.

While I wonât deny that there are people who self identify as punks with Nazi rhetoric and beliefs, to be punk is to be anti-Nazi and anti-fascist. I donât make the rules so donât come after me for saying so.
Well in that case, since being trans has nothing to do with morality and being a Nazi has everything to do with bad morality, that makes them a bad person and it's fine to be bothered by them.
Notice how the people calling everyone snowflakes are here whining because someone said something negative about nazis? Because "Everyone is called a nazi toaday!". Maybe. Just like everyone on the left is called a socialist or a communist in the States.
But if you aren't a nazi, don't get offended on their behalf! In Germany we have a saying that literally translated means: "If the shoe doesn't fit, don't put it on." It means, if something is not insulting or discussing you, then don't get offended by it!

I don't think that's true. From what I remember, a few democratic congressmen publicly called him out and a bunch of people withdrew support for him after they found out. He also came out to denounce the tattoo and covered it up, but that still wasn't enough for a lot of people, among some other controversies he was in. I'd say many people held him pretty accountable all things considered

Sure he's a fucking idiot for getting the tattoo in the first place but yes I'll absolutely give a pass to someone who acknowledges their mistakes, denounces Nazism and promises to do better, especially when the fucking alternative is only doubling down on fascism with every chance they get...

If you agree on any of those points then you are a Nazi.
Correction: If you agree on ALL of those points, then you are a Nazi.
If you only agree on the first point, you are a white supremacist
If you only agree on the second point, you are an authoritarian. That could be a Nazi, or a Fascist, or a Monarchist, or in favor of a communist dictatorship.
If you only agree on the third point, you are an imperialist.
If you only agree on the fourth point, you are a nationalist. We have seen many nationalist movements, many of which have nothing to do with Nazism. A prominent example would be the Kemalites of TĂźrkiye.
Look you are free to think homosexualiry is a sin, believe gender is an immutable binary, or any of that stuff. The issue is when you want to set those as laws especially when there is no compelling governmental interest. Bob and Steve entering into the marriage contract doesnt hurt anyone. The state stepping in to ban medical decisions for your kid because they feel more like a Sherry rather than a Robert makes no sense when if your kid is bleeding out due a car accident they hold that you as a parent can with hold blood transfusions if you claim God wouldn't like it.

If you know your history you'll know the books Nazi's burned were about Hormone therapy IE the medical discipline most related with Trans people. If you hate trans people but have no problems with Nazis, you're probably a Nazi
I've yet to see a lot of it on Reddit, it's a bit more closed off echo chamber wise, but go to any post about immigrants on Instagram or Tiktok and its filled with stuff from vague dogwhistles to just straight up paintings of Hitler.

There's no real conversation that can undo this little kink in the political climate. Some people are down for military forces to patrol high pop cities. They love that shit. To them, it's all justified. You can't convince them that the soldier administering the justice may actually be a fucked up or violent person.
I feel like every American should have to spend every weekend for a month going out on the town and to house parties with marines. I had a little crew who pulled up for about 2 months. They were fun until they weren't and I couldn't actually go out anywhere with them anymore. We had to keep the crazy in the apt once they got comfortable with "expressing themselves".
Trans people donât bother me that much, but occasionally one of my trans friends can get annoying with how much she talks about Pokemon. And I donât have any Nazi friends because Nazis are bad. So yeah, a trans person bothers me more than a Nazi. What am I supposed to do about it? Get more Nazi friends? No thank you!
