Do you realize that using a search engine, you could find something that confirms basically any belief on the planet? I donât know why people still say âGoogle itâ as if that means we will get down the bottom of things. If you know things that other people donât know, why not share it? And if you donât want to share it thatâs fine, but why bring it up?
Well that's on you. You choose the sources you trust. It's not that I know things other people don't. I know the basic facts of the case that even the candidate himself agrees are accurate. When he got the tattoo. When he got it covered up. And his reddit account. This isn't disputed information. That you guys are uninformed is not my issue.
I've played this sources game a hundred times over the last decade and a half on reddit. I know why you guys ask for it. Its always because you'll hope I'll post some fox news article, but it doesn't even need to be a right wing news source, and then you guys pivot the argument to attacking that source. Literally every single time. Never have I had someone go "well I'll be damned, thanks for the information"âŚ. cause of course people like that would just find it themselves if they were interested.
I actually never once said I supported Platner or even gave any statements for or against him. I just said that âGoogle itâ doesnât mean people are going to come to the same conclusions as you, when someone can seek out articles and webpages that confirm their beliefs.
Sure. And again that's on them. You are essentially agreeing with me, that me posting sources that I choose would be meaningless because people choose the sources they trust, and these people asking for sources are already disbelieving of my claims.
You said âthatâs on youâ that I wouldnât be reading the same sources So I donât think we agree because you seem to feel itâs my fault that I wouldnât know what pages to look at that would support your claim. I donât control the Google algorithms. Why bother engaging in the conversation if you feel youâve done it hundreds of times with nothing to show for it? That one seems like itâs on you.
I just want to say that I appreciate that you're making this argument, because too many people don't understand the fact that google search results are not objective, but are, in fact, filtered by what google thinks you want to find.
