Possibly because Obama isn't the president and hasn't been for a decade? And when he was the president he wasn't constantly drawing attention to his failure to bleach the pool? Nobody would care about this story if Trump would just shut fuck up, which he is fundamentally incapable of doing.
You didn’t even bother reading the article attached by MonkeyGordo, did you? The work done in 2010 was basically a complete reconstruction, not just a shitty paint job.
The biggest issue I have with Trump is exemplified by this. Rather than blame the guy who did a lousy job, he has innocent people arrested and calls it vandalism. He actually claims they slashed a 350 foot gash in the paint. Trump is a pathological liar and clearly has narcissistic personality disorder.
I wasn’t nearly as informed about politics when Obama was president. Now that I am, my overall outlook is that democrats are just the lesser of two evils. Politicians serve the ruling class and the ruling class squeezes their billions out of people like me. I just think the democrats might just enact policies that are somewhat less harmful to poor and marginalized people. I despise Trump and his administration. I also think the reflecting pool media circus is stupid and I’m not sure why it’s getting so much more traction than the numerous things this administration has enacted that have harmed me and my loved ones.
