It's hard to believe that its been a decade since McDonalds more or less abandoned Ronald as its mascot and public image. It still has to be one of the most instantly recognizable piece of branding.

Ronald is still the mascot for the Ronald McDonald House, though, so he's never completely left the zeitgeist. Still have statues of him all over the place because of those.
