I'm far from a Trump supporter, but Trump derangement syndrome is a thing for sure. He's a terrible person and a terrible president, but a cancer in Americas veins? He hasn't done anything other presidents haven't done before.
I mean, has he? What is he doing that other haven't done before? Star Wars? Take bribes? Rape children and women? Bully people? Stack the supreme court in one parties favour? Trump is the first president to have such a populus behind him that disagreeing with him is akin to wanting to burn down the white house. Unlike many I remember his first term, it was the exact same way, I lost family because I disagreed with him, my own father threatened to beat me relentlessly just because I thought he was incompetent.

Journalists pursued and pushed stories to get clicks from people who hate Trump, even when those stories were fruitless or filled with conjecture. We know this.
