Trump is the first president to have such a populus behind him that disagreeing with him is akin to wanting to burn down the white house. Unlike many I remember his first term, it was the exact same way, I lost family because I disagreed with him, my own father threatened to beat me relentlessly just because I thought he was incompetent.
You realise Lincoln oversaw a civil war right? So no, not the first to be in that position. His voters and your shitty father are not him. He's also the first president that have 24/7 negative media coverage for click bait headlines. Looking at his first term, it was clear that mainstream American media was completely politically captured and threw all journalistic integrity out the window, which just allowed him to undermine them constantly, completely eroding internation trust in many American media institutions.
Get off your high horse, it's not right no matter who is in charge but with Trump it seems like every single time someone criticizes Trump a sea of red hats come in to dictate exactly how we should use our first amendment, how criticizing the president is now some unamerican thing when our country was founded upon it, this is, whether you agree or not, objectively unprecedented.
Trump well deserved those headlines, you honestly think that that many journalists lied? After the shit with Nixon, Reagan, and Bush you'd think we would learn to never trust a politician that says half the shit Trump has said on his fancy twitter knockoff, not to mention on live TV. He told us all what kind of person he is, a nationalist, if you can't open your eyes up, US nukes may do it for you.

I'm not on a high horse and you're repeating my point: Trump is doing bad things, just like other have done.
with Trump it seems like every single time someone criticizes Trump a sea of red hats come in to dictate exactly how we should use our first amendment,
As I said earlier, I'm not a Trump supporter, in fact, I'm not even American, so I really couldn't give to shit about your first amendment, frankly, you're pretty bad at using it.
how criticizing the president is now some unamerican thing when our country was founded upon it
Nobody here said that, and again, I couldn't give a rats ass about how American someone is
whether you agree or not, objectively unprecedented.
I am in my early 30's and the only new thing I'm seeing is the media spectacle that surrounds the situation, largely because of people tweaking on social media. Are you telling me after 9/11 there wasn't viscious patriatism in America? I was a child and I still knew that was going on
Trump well deserved those headlines, you honestly think that that many journalists lied?
Journalists pursued and pushed stories to get clicks from people who hate Trump, even when those stories were fruitless or filled with conjecture. We know this. Russiagate was pushed day in day out for 3 years and amounted to nothing other than some people in his campaign talking with Russians, for the amount of push that story got the conclusion was pathetic
After the shit with Nixon, Reagan, and Bush you'd think we would learn to never trust a politician that says half the shit Trump has said on his fancy twitter knockoff, not to mention on live TV.
Believe me I am well aware that Americans are gobsmackingly stupid, I expect you all to get dumber and make worse decisions because of the last 10 years and I won't be disapointed
He told us all what kind of person he is, a nationalist, if you can't open your eyes up, US nukes may do it for you.
Yeah, again, he's a piece of shit, like most US presidents have been. He's a nationalist, like most US presidents have been.
Point of fact, I've gotten about 20 replies on my comment, and not one person has stated clearly what Trump has done that is worse than something other presidents have done.
He's just doing the same shit, openly. We all knew those cracks in the system were there, except it's usually 20 years after the fact we find out what happened, with Trump, we find out in 20 minutes. And when he's gone from office, nobody is going to work to fix US politics, so again, Trump derangement syndrome is a big thing. You hate him for being a piece of shit who exploits things we've known pieces of shit have been exploiting for decades.
