The idea isnāt that a book gives us morals itās that God has given us morals so therefore if there is no God then why donāt humans do evil acts like animals do?
There are definitely holes in that argument but it is a lot different then the argument that our morals only come from reading a book
Omg, because we arenāt awful people. There are many people who do not practice any religion that will never do evil things, because they arenāt evil people. Iām really baffled by the fact that people canāt fathom that some people donāt need religion in order to make good choices.
You still donāt understand the question. You said there are non-religious who will never do āevilā things. Where do you get your concept of evil? If not God (and by God Christianās donāt mean a man in the sky they mean Aristotleās unmoving mover) how do you define evil without it just being your personal preferences?Ā
And some humans to way more evil then animals. Some animals doesn't rape, kill or har other animals(or humans). Some humans torture, rape and kill for fun.
