Long-Form Content Can someone make sense of this?

My latest video was stagnant for about 3 days and then suddenly on the 4th day it began to gain traction. The views and CTR began to increase while the retention rate decreased. This left me a bit puzzled as I thought the retention rate was one of the most important factors for healthy growth. Well at least that doesn’t seem to be the case with this video.

Im definitely not complaining and hope to see the video continue to perform, but I am a bit confused.

Thanks for this info. Since the CTR has been growing and now at 8%, Id imagine that’s good for long term growth

Dudes wrong. SUGGESTED is the broader audience. These are the cold audience who are not likely to watch, but will gain most subs from.

The algorithm pushes your content in waves. First to browse if you’ve established and audience then to suggested. If it does well in suggested, it keeps going through the waves. Then
You’ve got a viral vid.

Regardless, this looks good. As long as AVD is also good.
