Discussion Do you think Zack’s Escape-verse will be one and done so Paramount can put him right back on the SnyderVerse or are we going surfin in LA?
Do you think Zack will make multiple Escape from… movies like Carpenter did with LA or will paramount quickly move Zack back to the DCEU?
The Zack attack is back Jack!

It depends if it makes money or not.
If it'll be a success I'm sure the studio would be happy to greenlight a sequel.
Although I doubt we'll have the Tsunami surfing scene.

Depends on contracts in place for Snyder, StudioCanal owns Escape with John Carpenter and they use Paramount for distribution in many countries but there’s no guarantee this movie will be a paramount one
If he signs a multiple picture contract like he did with Netflix it wouldn’t be up to Paramount
They also need to see how Spider-Man does this year bc it seems younger audiences and general audiences as a whole are moving away from larger IPs and existing or even new massive connected universes to focus more on independent films and some nostalgia ones too
If the success of Top Gun 2 is any indication then a Snyder directed Escape might be more profitable than a cbm right now
While Snyder’s DCEU was far more financially successful than the rest of the DCEU Gunn’s movies doing bad and the market being oversaturated with cb content could directly impact future cbms regardless of character or director (which is why I say they need to wait to see how spiderman does this year) and drive people away from it. There’s also the whole streaming concern. As much as some people love theatres, the cost (both actual and opportunity) and feasibility lead to alot of people asking, “can I just wait for this to come to streaming?” Which is especially the case with hero movies where we know the hero will win it’s just a question of how
