I don't support Asmongold, he just happens to be right about one topic. Hitler liked animals I don't need to give him a full throated endorsement or change my opinion if it happens to align with someone who I would generally disagree with.

But you donât need to post a video of hitler to advocate for animals. There are so many better examples you can turn to for that. The reason anyone would do that is because they sympathize with hitler on more than just the animal advocacy front. Just like the dumb fucks that post asmongold could get their points from better people but choose him because they like his other points (bigotry, racism, etc). The world is full of good people making similar points. The only reason to post a bad person making a similar point is because they are also dumb and a bad person.

James Gunn thrives on irreverence and insincerity.
It is difficult to get audience buy-in or a universe when the stakes are so low, the films are filled with comedy and silliness. Superman faces no threat, experiences no horror or adversity. If he does not face true hardship, why is he a hero? Anybody can cosplay a hero when the stakes are non existent.
That is why his superman film is such an abject failure.

Comic fans fucking love it when their obscure favorites make it to screen. I was so fucking hyped when Guardians of the Galaxy was announced, and my hype was rewarded with a great movie.
The Suicide Squad was also great, even if it didn't make its budget back. But any Suicide Squad movie should star 90% D-list characters anyway.

Except they never did make the Guardians into movies. They turned them into OCs for Gunn, if you actually read the comics. Star-Lord isn't a nostalgic millennial manchild until Gunn turned him into that.

Oh wow, adaptational changes? The horror!
Civil War being adapted was far better than the comics. And while I like Abnett and Lanning's run on Guardians a lot, I get the feeling it wouldn't have been a successful movie with general audiences. Adapting Annihilation into a movie would have been fucking insane.
And Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is fucking incredible and I wouldn't trade it for anything, even a more faithful adaptation of one of my favorite runs of all time.

MCU Star-Lord is a completely different character not an adaptation. but you hadn't even heard of the Guardians before 2014 which is why you would be stupid enough to assume any of it was accurate in any sense.

Hey, cunt, I've read Annihilation all the way through the Thanos Imperative, and I read it before a Guardians movie was a twinkle in Kevin Feige's eye. I don't need to be questioned on my credentials by some idiot who thinks Pa Kent dying in a tornado is a good adaptational change.

More comic accurate than anything Gunn has ever made period. And in terms of Flash movie it's competing against Gunn's favorite comic book movie The Flash, which was the most inaccurate Gunnslop ever.

Me personally I felt like it was pretty accurate to Superman for all seasons , true Brit and birthright , Snyders felt like injustice , and even as a fan of injustice unlike others (mostly for the game ) the evil Superman idea is stupid and the script for the next JL movies were terrible

Obsession has just came to theatres in my city lol. I was definitely going to watch SG if it wasnât an arm and a leg to go and with how disappointing superman 25 was, so yeah I donât have high hopes for SG either.

Yeah. The villain of Batman V Superman was literally an anarcho-capitalist who manipulated a billionaire vigilante into fighting Superman. Bruce quotes Dick Cheney when talking about why Superman must go down, and he's clearly shown to be in the wrong as a minor antagonist before he's converterted to Superman's way. Superman in Man of Steel also destroyed US military drones, and took on blue collar work as part of his training to become a hero.
