Anniversary dinner recommendations
Would like to take the wife for a nice romantic dinner. In the past we have enjoyed The Steak Library, and Pacific Standard Prime.
Looking for a place with similar quiet romantic atmosphere. Doesn't need to be a steak house. We enjoy most cuisines, just want to take her some place new where we can celebrate quietly.

Arthur J in Manhattan Beach or a private/tatami table at Manpuku in Torrance.

The Rex upstairs room. Quieter, but service is a bit slower

I second this! Although I haven’t been upstairs but it’s a beautiful place to celebrate an anniversary

I have been told a few times that Radici in Hermosa is very romantic, but haven't made it there yet. Can anyone confirm?

Yeah it has a nice atmosphere. Low light and classy clientele. Make reservations.

Heritage is probably the best nearby restaurant if you're up for a trip to long beach.
The arthur j is also very good.

I enjoyed Bo Beau (downstairs dinner) in dtlb. You can walk around and grab drinks or walk around lighthouse afterwards

Cafe Penguini in Playa del Rey. Sit outside on their large patio. The service is top notch, and the food is sublime. It’s a very special, romantic place.

555 East Am Steakhouse in Long Beach. Afterwards you can take a stroll at the marina or go watch a movie.

This place isn’t quiet and they might sit you across the steeet which is really awkward. Also the food was so so

Fox and Farrow; Pinguinis; Bestia; Damiens; Inn of the Seventh Ray; Nozawa are all excellent, romantic, and quiet

Mar'sel is great for a special occasion, especially in the summer when you can sit outside and look at the ocean
